She stood by her husband Ray Rice when he made her see stars by knocking her out in an elevator. ?You would think after she became conscious, she would have asked for mama.

    The other song is the old hit 'what a fool believes'. Janay Rice is a fool if ever I saw one. What woman gets knocked silly by a man who supposed to 'be in love' with them and marries them? For that matter, what woman gets knocked out by a man and chooses to be within 50ft of him? Is Janay one of those chicks that loves to hit, slapped and kicked/

  Adrian Peterson the ex Viking was suspended from football for the rest of the season for pretending to be Jo Jackson by taking a switch to the backside of his son, Yet, ex Baltimore Raven Ray Rice, the man who showed his wife 'who's boss' by knocking her into tomorrow in an elevator has been reinstated to the game of  football .

    What is the world coming to? A man, a professional athlete abuses his woman, could've killed her and is forgiven? What does this say about domestic violence? I guess Ray Rice should be the next person to receive the Nobel Peace Prize.

    Celebrities love to strike a pose on the red carpet. They love to receive awards. They love to launch cosmetic,  perfume and clothing lines. They love to go to star studded events and parties. They love dining at the best restaurants in the world and living in homes with multiple bathrooms and pools. They love the millions they make.

   Let's face it, they love their lifestyle.So, where are they now? There is unrest in the US because of the actions of white Ferguson, MO police officer. I'm not in a position to say whether or not the shooting was justified. What matters is that the grand jury assigned to judge the matter decided that no charges would be filed.

   Celebrities should be on the airwaves asking for peace. Maybe they will at some point. I hope so. They should be doing more with themselves than looking pretty, making red carpet appearances and making more money than the law allows.

Steve Smith - wide receiver of The Baltimore Ravens has the worst attitufe of any player in the NFL.

  Football players are agressive , sometimes their size and strenght is intimidating. I have noticed that there is one professional football player that has a nasty disposition. I first saw his bad behavior when he was a receiver last year with the Carolina Panthers. Now, he is a memeber of the Baltimore Ravens and his behavior is still bad. He acts like an overgrown child.

   I am talking about Steve Smith. If you haven;t witnessed his nasty attitude, then watch the Baltimore Ravens play and it will be evident. I don't know the man, but he would not be someone I would want to meet. Smith is a 14 year veteran, so you think that he would have the sense to 'take it easy'. No, he acts like a phychopath that needs to be shot with the srongest 'calming' medicine known to man.

   If he has a family, I feel sorry for them. A man must be in control of himself. Steve Smith isn't control of himself or his emotions. I am not ready for some footballl when he is on the field.

  

Nia Riley - daughter of fanous producer Teddy Riley is a dream chaser.

 

    I feel bad  for Nia Riley the daughter of producer Teddy Riley. I don't know her nor  have I met her, but she is a young lady who is chasing a dream. Many people have dreams, but let's face it, there are good dreams and there are bad dreams. Nia Riley on Love and Hip Hop Hollywood has an on and off relationship with rapper Soldier Boy.

   Soldier Boy has a reputation of putting his meat in many women. He according to different sources has a transexual fetish (Sydney Starr). Whatever the case, he is grown and can lay in the bed with whoever or whomever he chooses. The problem comes in when he deceives women like Nia Riley. I think Nia is chasing a dream  because she seems to think that Soldier Boy is 'the one'.

    Nia's sister told her that Soldier Boy was not a man, but a boy. I would agree. He is young, black and wealthy. He is not ready to commit to one woman. He is livng a lifestyle that is impossible for most men his age.  Nia witnessed her father's own dicretions while on tour. So, I don't understand why she feels that Soldier Boy would be different? If anything, I would think that he would be worse.

    Nia could be d _ _ k whipped. I understand that Soldier Boy is large and in charge. I could care less about that. Sodler Boy is not an ideal man for any woman right now. I feel for Teddy Riley, because he knows that Nia is acting foolishly, but is powerless to help her. Nia is not at the stage to be helped. She is like a horse with blinders on. Nia needs prayer and healing. I understand that she was at one point in a lesbian relatioship with a famous athletes' daughter.

     Some young men admire and emulate athletes. I’m sure that Super Boxing Champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. is one of those athletes .Floyd Mayweather Jr., is a tremendous boxer with a record of 47 wins with no losses and no draws. He is pound per pound one of the best boxers to have ever lived. Thou he clearly has boxing skills; he is a horrible role model.

     Floyd Mayweather has four children with two women that he has been accused and convicted of physically abusing. He was engaged to a lady named Shantel Jackson who is suing the boxer for abusing her. He has dated Chili from the group TLC as well as singer Keyshia Cole. Mayweather supposedly had sexual relations with Chris Bosch’s wife Adrienne and sent her home dripping. Boy, he is a real gentleman.

    Clearly Floyd Mayweather has a problem maintaining relationships with women. He is a lousy role model for males. Mayweather uses women as sex objects and spokes persons for his ‘money team’. He is nothing more than a ‘legal pimp’. I don’t like any man that uses women, thou I know that some women prefer abusive men like Floyd Mayweather.

    It proves the fact that some women like abusive men. They are like drug addicts or alcoholics who know that what they are doing is harmful, but can’t stop without serious intervention. Floyd Mayweather is a talented fighter with some sick ideas regarding male-female relationships. Ladies! Wake up and smell the coffee.

   I grew up watching Bill Cosby and the Cosby Kids. Every Saturday I use to watch the adventures of Fat Albert and his group. I watched Bill Cosby and Robert Culp play in the television series called I Spy. I watched Bill Cosby in Jello Pudding commercials. I saw him in various movies.

   When I was in graduate school at Chicago State University, I watched The Bill Cosby Show. Boy was that a good program. It was a show that showed African American people in a positive light. It made me proud to be an African American. I read and heard of Bill Cosby and his wife giving finanacial assistance to college bound students through the United Negro College Fund as well as other charities.

   When I think of Bill Cosby, I think of everything that is good about African American people. Now, in 2014, allegations of Bill Cosby being a rapist has made its way to the media. I am shocked and dissapointed. I certainly hope that this is a mistake, but I will sit back, wait and watch. I wish Bill Cosby and his family the best during this situation.

    I admit I don't know much about TI. I know he comes from the south. I know that he is a rapper. I know that he is married to long time love Tiny from the girl group Xscape. I know that he is an aspiring actor. I know he is one of the producers of the hit reality show Sisterhood of Hip Hop. I know he has a show called TI and TinyThe Family Hustle. I don't really know who is the real TI.

   I heave heard him called an OG. I have heard people call him the King of the South. Yet, when you watch his family program with wife Tiny, you don't get the impression that he is an OG or King of the South. His schow comes off as a modern version of the Bill Cosby Show. Now don't misunderstand me. The Bill Cosby show was a very good show. Bill Cosby and TI thou are two entirely different people.

   Bill Cosby to my knowledge was never a rapper or a street guy. He was never called the 'King' of anything. I know that these are modern times, but I would just like to know who is the real TI. Carlesha Freeland Gaither - Philadelphian woman who remained strong after being abducted by a sick monster named Delvin Barnes.

 

                               

 

    On November 2, 2014 on a dark and lonely street in Philadelphia, a 22 year old nursing assistant named Carlesha Freeland Gaither walked home from a party. She would not make it home that morning, because a 37 year old predator by the name of Delvin Barnes abducted her. She struggled with him. She broke out the windows of the car he drove and place her in,but He proved to be strong for her and took her captive.

    A worthless coward who witnessed the horrific scene from a car that was seen on surveillance cameras driving up behind Delvin Barnes car, backed up and drove away.  That coward could have at least notified police of the abduction. Instead, he left the young woman to unspeakable horrors.

    Delvin Barnes is truly a man of irrational thinking. He had a warrant for attempted Capital murder. Instead of laying low and hiding, he stalked and abducted Carlesha Freeland Gaither. He drove her to Baltimore, Maryland and used her ATM card. Didn’t it occur to him that he would be on camera? I guess not. He was seen again on a surveillance camera in a grocery store. So, he was seen on surveillance cameras on three occasions.

    This allowed law enforcement to capture him and save Carlesha from harm. I was disturbed at the abduction. The mistreatment of an innocent young woman made me sick to my stomach. The man who drove up behind Delvin Barnes during the abduction and ran away, made me ashamed to be a man. He had the chance to stop a crime. Instead, he ran away like a frightened school boy.

   Despite the situation, Carlesha had the courage and strength to fight Delvin Barnes. Truly this young woman proved that she is worthy to be admired.  I was relieved to learn that she was found and that monster Delvin Barnes was placed in custody. I hope justice prevails and makes an example of him and all others who feel that crime is worth the effort.

Why do some women feel they can reform and control a man?

   Time after time after time, I see programs that feature women who actually feel that they can change the ways of  grown men  and control them. I don't understand this line of thinking. I don't get why a woman who is in faculty of her mind would think that a man can be manipulated like a puppet or be treated like a slave. I have heard women say statements like 'he is going to be with me' and 'he is going to take care of his children'. I think some women are dellusional. A man is not born to be a slave. He has the freedom to make his own decision regarding his life.

   Some men aren't willing or able to be in a monogamous relationship. They want to play the field. Some women know that the man they have chosen to 'settle down with' or 'have a baby by' is not the 'relationship' type. Yet,they feel they posses the necessary goods or talk that will make him' straighten up'. This clearly shows that some women are delusional. A man is what he is . A woman must make a decision to accept him'as is' or keep it moving.

   The problem is that some women don't operate on 'sense', they operate on a differnt unknown page.

    What kind of place is Miami-Dade County? I was born and raised in Chicago (Chi-Town), Illinois. On several occasions, I traveled from Chicago to Miami-Dade County for business. A few years ago, I left the winds, cold, snow, gangs and racist police to rest in the sun of Miami-Dade County
     In the four years I have been a permanent residence of Miami-Dade County, I have come to several conclusions. They are; 1. Miami-Dade County is full of unfriendly and crazy people, 2. Miami-Dade County caters to the ‘well to do’, 3. Miami-Dade County is not a safe place for pedestrians, 4. Miami-Dade County is a hard place to find adequate and affordable housing and food programs. 5. Miami-Dade County is full of crooked government officials and law enforcement personnel.

     I have noticed that Miami-Dade County is full of unfriendly and crazy people. Miami-Dade County is an international scene. So, you could meet a person from anywhere in the world. Most of the people I have come across don’t say ‘good morning’, ‘good afternoon’, ‘good evening’ or ‘excuse me’. Most people don’t even acknowledge your presence Sometimes, I feel alone in a room, thought it could be full of people.

     Many people in Miami-Dade County are crazy. I have seen both men and women talking to themselves and acting irrationally in public. I have seen so much craziness, that I have become immune to it.

 Miami-Dade County caters to the ‘well to do’.

    Wealth is not everything, but it sure doesn’t hurt to have money to live and eat well. Being ‘well to do’ goes a long way in Miami-Dade County. It opens up good living in places like Golden Beach, Aventura, Sunny Isles and Star Island to name a few. Money puts you past the ropes and into the VIP sections of clubs like Mansion, Nikki Beach, Nocturnal and Liv. Yes, Miami-Dade County is paradise for those who have some ‘coin’. It is a headache for the middle class who seek adequate and affordable housing and a nightmare for the poor who struggle to find housing and employment.

    Miami-Dade County is not a safe place for pedestrians. In the State of Florida, pedestrian don’t have the ‘right of way’, motor vehicles do. There are many streets and roadways in Miami-Dade County that are hazardous for pedestrians to cross. Some areas don’t have sidewalks. On top of that, Miami-Dade County has some of the worst drivers in America. All those things add up to the fact that pedestrians living or visiting in Miami-Dade County need to stop, look, listen and proceed with caution while walking . If you don’t you might end-up in the ER.

     Miami-Dade County is a hard place to get things when ‘in need’. Housing is a necessity. It feels good to have a place to live that provides protection from bad people, the hot sun and heavy rains of Miami-Dade County. Yet, when you go to various housing programs or deal with social workers to obtain housing, they tell you that housing is not readily available. Rent in most areas of Miami-Dade County is steep except for places like Homestead.

     I have been to Homestead on several occasions. It is a long drive from places like South Beach or Aventura. If you have a car or access to a vehicle it is not so bad, but public transportation would not be a good option

    Food is another necessity. Food is expensive. There are food programs in Miami-Dade County, the trick is finding them. I have looked for food programs on the internet, but they don’t give you all of the programs.  The list isn’t updated.

    So, the best way to find food programs is to contact a church, social worker or ‘word of mouth’. I have discovered several pantries by talking with different people. Some food programs are once a month while others are once a week. The food selection varies. Most of them serve vegetables and fruit while only a few serve meat or meat products.

    The bottom line is that if you have a family and can benefit from food programs, then you will have to do some homework.

Miami-Dade County is a place of strange law enforcement and government officials.

     Miami –Dade County is a place of strange law enforcement and government officials. Coming from Chicago, Illinois, I am use to abusive, authoritative and racist law enforcement personnel. It is nothing for police to follow me while I am in a car or just walking down the street. I am not bothered by police asking for my ID, searching me or my vehicle or arresting me for no apparent reason. Here in Miami-Dade County police actually respect people.

   They don’t have a menacing persona like they do in Chicago and the nearby suburbs. They don’t seem to harass and stop people in their cars. Suburbs like Evergreen Park and Oak Lawn Illinois stop more cars in one day then I have seen police stop people in Miami-Dade County all year. Police get arrested quite often here in Miami-Dade County like ordinary people. I am reminded of the former Miami-Beach Policemen that was videotaped getting drunk in uniform with a woman and then ran over people on the beach in a motor vehicle. He is no longer ‘serving and protecting’.

   Government officials are strange in Miami-Dade County. The mayor of North Miami was arrested and lost her position because of her suspected involvement in fraud. She and other government officials have been suspected of involvement in illegal practices.

    I’m sure many of you reading this article are wondering what's the lure of Miami-Dade County. Well, for me it is the weather along with the fact that I don’t have to speak or be bothered with people unless I want to. I don’t have to worry about police ‘hassling’ me. I have a good group of social workers that I can utilize when I need things.

    So what I don’t live in the elite neighborhoods or go the VIP sections of clubs or eat at the finest restaurants in town. I don’t need or require those things. I live in a fairly safe area. I eat what and when I want. My club days are long gone.  So, my life in Miami-Dade County is okay.
