Net Worth - What is it and what Net Worth amounts constitute wealth..

   Sometimes, I look at a site called 'Celebrity Net Worth'. I have always found it interesting to look at facts and figures. On this site, you can put in the name of a celebrity and the site will list the person's Net Worth.  Net Worth's vary from individual to individual. For example Oprah Winfrey has a Net Worth is 2.9 billion. Warren Buffet's Net Worth is 65.1 billion.

  

    I know that both Oprah Winfrey and Warren Buffet are wealthy. Today we will look at the definition and meaning of Net Worth. We will also look at what Net Worth amounts signify wealth.
According to investorswords.com, Net worth for an individual is the value of a person's assets including cash minus all liabilities.

   An asset by definition (Wikepedia) is an economic resource. It is anything tangible or intangible that is capable of being owned or controlled to produce value and that is held to hold positive value. tangible assets can further be broken down into two areas - current and fixed. Current assets include cash and inventory, while fixed assets include items like equipment and buildings. Intangibles assets include things like stocks, bonds, trademarks and copyrights.

   A liability is something for which one is liable, an obligation, a responsibility or debt. So another way of looking at Net Worth is the amount of things a person owns after they pay their bills. From the definition and breakdowns we have just looked at, it is obvious why knowledge in money  and finance is important. I took some courses in Economics and Accounting in college thou my major was Education. I certainly learned some very important things from those courses.

   One of the most important things I learned was that if a person intends to keep some assets, they must make sure that they equal more than liabilities each day, month or year - depending on how often a person tracks their worth. Now that we have an understanding of the meaning of Net Worth, let us look at Net Worth amounts that equal wealth.

    I think all of us realize that a person with a negative Net Worth is broke. That their liabilities outnumber their assets, but what New Worth amount equals wealth. According to Yahoo Finance.com in an article written in 2012, the average Net Worth of the 1%  or wealthiest
 people in humanity pencils out to be about $16.4 million.

   If that is the case, I think it is safe to say that Oprah Winfrey and Warren Buffet are among the super wealthy. Next time, we will look at some more celebrity Net Worth's.

Amber Rose is a smooth criminal.

 


   We have seen the headlines - Amber Rose has filed for divorce from husband Wiz Kalifa. I first saw and heard of Amber Rose one day while watching the news. She was with bad mouthed Kanye West. I noticed that she was well built, short-haired and had a sexy walk. When I heard her name  again, she was dating super performing Hip Hop man - Wiz Kalifa.

   I did some research on Amber Rose's dating history and discovered that she had dated several men after Kanye West and before Wiz Kalifa (see below). Quite an impressive list  which included Lebron James, Chris Brown, Reggie Bush, Drake, Eddie Murphy, Fabulous and Knicks power forward Amar'e Stoudemire.

   One thing is for sure, Amber Rose like many of the women who want to "come up", knows how to connect with the money men. Amber Rose is a smooth criminal. She finally found someone who wanted to marry her (Wiz Kalifa), despite the fact that he missed the announcement (you can't turn a ho into a housewife). What does she do? She strings Wiz along. Has a child so she can trick him into believing that she wanted a family.

   Then when the "getting is good", she woos Nick Cannon and hands Wiz her "walking papers". If that is not the moves of a smooth criminal, then I don't know "what is".I feel sorry for Wiz, because he is a talented artist that looked for love in the wrong place. He is not the first and will not be the last. There are many women like Amber Rose .

    I don't feel sorry for Amber Rose, because "she is who and what she is". Men need to be aware of her type and act accordingly. I believe Wiz will learn from this hard lesson and be alright. It will be interesting to see if she can trick Nick Cannon into believing that she is "worth the effort". Stay tuned.

  

Sisterhood of Hip Hop - MC Siya is delusional about her relationship with Renaye,

   MC Siya the openly gay cast member of Sisterhood of Hip Hop, is delusional. Siya is cool. She is the one member of the cast that acts with sense until it comes to her relationship with Renaye. Siya is delusional because she really believe that she can sustain a relationship while trying to make a name for herself in the unpredictable world of entertainment.

    Renaye is like many lesbians that I have encountered, She is possessive and overly jealous. She doesn't respect Siya's profession. It doesn't help matters that Siya is liked by all the other cast members. I think that Siya and Nyemiah dig each other. I saw the way Siya looked at Nyemiah at her video shoot for her song "Downgrade". I saw Nyemiah blush while talking with Siya.

   Siya is like the man of the cast. So, I don't blame Nyemiah. Siya is going to have to come to herself and realize that Renaye may not be the one for her. Whatever the case, Siya better get her act together if she intends to be a top MC.

Sisterhood of Hip Hop. Diamond is a dummy.



    ATL MC and former Crime Mob girl Diamond continues to prove that she might not be able to control herself. A diamond is supposed to be a "girls best friend". It is supposed to shine. Rapper Diamond is not a girls' best friend.  She and Nyemiah are still bumping heads.

    I'm surprised that Diamond invited Nyemiah to her label party in Miami. I even more surprised, Nyemiah accepted the invitation. I certainly would not go to a party with someone that is disrespectful to me as an artist and person. Rapper Diamond does not shine. She is a dummy!!

   She was asked by her manager if she was done with Soldier Boy. She said "no", but her body language said that she was ready to get some more Soldier Boy. If I was Diamond's manager, I would be looking to get out of my contract. Diamond is about to "mess with the money". Diamond invited Soldier Boy to her label party.

   Who invites an "ex" to a big party with businesspeople, friends and family? I'll tell you, a dummy!! Brianna and BIA questioned the move and eluded to the fact that Diamond was not ready to have a friend relationship with Soldier Boy. Brianna and BIA's words went into one ear of Diamond's and out the other. Diamond was getting "hot in the tail' just mentioning Soldier Boy's name.

    Diamond and Soldier Boy had a 2.3 year plus "thing". I call it a thing, because he didn't put a" ring on it". I guess diamond didn't listen to the words of Beyoncé's song (put a ring on it). Sometimes, young people think they have all the "answers" to life and don't listen to sound advice. Diamond's is acting like a "b _ _ _ h" in heat.

    I didn't see Diamond's father present at the party. If I were here father, I wouldn't want to be at that fiasco any way. As soon as Soldier hit the party (which he shouldn't been invited to), she fell into his arms like a love sick puppy. They went off together by themselves like some long lost loves. They looked like they wanted to "get it in" right there on the coaches (how disgusting).

   If I were Diamond's father and saw that, I would've took Soldier Boy apart and threw him into the trash can (which is probably where he belongs any way). Rapper Diamond is a dummy, because she said that she was through with Soldier Boy. She lied. Of course women do change their minds about things, but give me a break.

   She said she wants to make it as a solo artist. I think the only thing she wants to work is her and Soldier Boy. I wonder has Diamond seen his track record. Soldier Boy has had many affairs and is not finished yet. Diamond was not the first for him and certainly will not be the last. I hope the "big wigs" at Diamond's label have an exit strategy in place, because Diamond looks like she is going to be a "bust".

    Chris Bosch is a former member of the BIG Three which put the Miami Heat on the map n the world of professional basketball. Chris along with Dwayne Wade and Lebron James helped the Miami Heat win two back to back championships. Chris is a better man that I could ever be. Thou, he is much younger than I, Chris has shown that he has compassion and a sense of understanding beyond measure. I don't say that about Chris because he is a star basketball player, a millionaire, a husband, a father or role model. I say that because the issues that surround his personal life have not affected his feelings for his wife and family.

   Let me explain. Things concerning Chris's wife Adrienne came out in ways that could have changed his feelings about his love of many years. Womanizing rapper and celebrity stud YMCMB CEO Lil Wayne talked trashed about Chris's wife at a basketball game between The Miami Heat and Houston Rockets back in February 2013. Lil Wayne probably had to too much to drink and smoke that evening, because he let his emotions get the best of him. I think most of us know that Lil Wayne is not a "man of discretion". He has several "baby mamas" and has had numerous sex affairs. Supposedly, he put the "goode" in Megan Goode.

   Apparently Lil Wayne and Adrienne had a "thing" going on "back in the day". Adrienne was apparently a regular at clubs and was a notch on the bed" for Lil Wayne, boxer Floyd Mayweather and many others. The bible would coin her and many women today as "Wayward women". When I was a kid coming up in  the 60's and 70's, Adrienne would  be the kind of girl to "stay clear of". It seems that women today become famous and land some wealthy men thou they are sexually promiscuous. Adrienne is no exception to the rule, but Chris is aware of the past and has looked past that.

    I will be honest. I am old fashioned. I would not have dated or even associated with a woman like Adrienne or any other woman who had a known "reputation" of being wayward. If I lowered my standards and did, I would have that woman only as "bed Piece". If  I lowered my standards some more and married a wayward woman and she was ridiculed in public like Adrienne was by a guy like Lil Wayne, I would have took that guy apart and put him back together again.

   Chris did date Adrienne, married her, started a family with her, made her respectable and didn't
"knock Lil Wayne into tomorrow". Because of these actions, I take my hat off to Chris Bosch and again say that Chris Bosch is a better man than me.

Lil Wayne (YMCMB) - is proof that a name is worth a thousand words.

   How many people out there would love to a part of YMCMB. The ladies seem to love the name, the brand and the man that sits up high in the group and looks low for tasty women who come running. One  of the most colorful of the group is the CEO that came on the scene as a young upstart. You know who I am talking about. The one, the only Lil Wayne. For a little guy, he is big with the ladies. Lil Wayne even has a notch on his bed that represents a transgendered woman.
