Mariah Carey had a poor performance in Tokyo. Mariah started her tour and it certainly started as a 'bust'. Mariah is one of the best vocalist in the world, but she certainly didn't do herself justice in Tokyo on October 4, 2014. When I heard Mariah, I immediately thought about the late Whitney Houston's horrible performance in Australia back in 2010.
Performing is not as easy as some people might think. It takes talent, adequate preparation and working technology to even hope to be a success. Actually, performing is one of the most frustrating, nerve racking and stressful professions that exist.. Sure, it has the potential to be profitable, but only for a select few. Each year, millions of people stand in long lines to audition for programs like American Idol and other similar shows.
Out of those millions of people, only a select few will make it those shows. Out of those, only one person will win. l. The bottom line is that only a few people will be able to reach the status of Mariah Carey. So, it hurts me to see Mariah have such a poor performance, when she is capable of great ones. Probably with the pressure of a looming divorce from husband Nick Cannon, Mariah is not focused on her performances or voice.
Whatever the case, she will need to fix the problem before she heads to 'the point of no return'.
